This service is to provide clients with a thorough understanding of nutritional medicine as a modality and how it can support their lifestyle, wellbeing & health goals. We work together using the information attained to construct a treatment plan suitable to their individual needs & goals
MY RESPONSIBILITY
I have a Bachelor of Health Science Degree in Nutritional Medicine (graduated 2012)
Plus 8 years of clinical experience (April 2020)
The treatments given in a consult are derived from extensive clinical experience and current evidence-based protocols. Continued Practitioner Development hours are kept up to date, as are Professional Association memberships (ANTA). I also regularly attend Professional Conferences and seminars.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
Accurate client history forms, honesty, and thorough medical history is expected. Informed consent is gained via Client History Form. It is expected you will follow advised protocols (including diet, supplement regimes and dosing & lifestyle changes) as closely as possible and CONTACT me if something unexpected happens
Many channels of communication are available and are always outlined
PROBLEMS
No responsibility is taken if clients have not stuck to guidelines OR failed to contact me if something has not gone as expected
Nutritional Medicine is a Holistic Modality and attempts to find and restore the underlying problem. It is not a substitute for pharmacological managed medically diagnosed symptoms / conditions
SUITABILITY
Ideal clients are people suffering from gut issues, digestive disorders, chronic or undiagnosed health issues that are willing to try a new approach to healing
Planning, pregnant, or mums with infants should look to the First 1000 Days Program or packages OR can do an initial Nutritional Medicine consult

Returns Policy
Nutritional Medicine Consults (either online or face to face)
I do not offer a refund to clients who change their mind after the consult
50% refund if appointment cancelled on the day
If a client cancels a member-based contract payment stops immediately (cancel anytime policy) but will not be entitled to any refunds on unused services.
Consumer Guarantees
MINOR PROBLEM
If internet drops out during a zoom / skype appointment we will reschedule at no further cost to the client
If illness occurs on either part (myself or client) we will reschedule at no cost.
Visitor Information
RESPECTFUL COMMUNICATION
In Membership sites and facebook groups (free and program groups) it is expected that people are kind and respectful. No rude or offensive comments will be tolerated and people will be removed form group
Jurisdiction & Dispute Resolution
JURISDICTION
Emma Park Nutritionist is located in Victoria, Australia. The agreement is subject to the governing law of Victoria.
NEGOTIATION
If you have any issue or complaint arising out of your use of this website or these terms and conditions, you and Emma Park Nutritionist agree to make a genuine effort to resolve the dispute through negotiation and discussion
MEDIATION
If we are unable to resolve a dispute by negotiation and discussion within 14 days, the parties must proceed to mediation with the assistance of an accredited mediator who is independent of the parties. The mediator is to be appointed by agreement of the parties or, failing agreement within twenty-one (21) days of the first notification of the dispute, by a person appointed by the Chair of Resolution Institute, (ACN 008 651 232, Level 2, 13-15 Bridge Street, Sydney NSW 2000; telephone: 02 9251 3366, email: infoaus@resolution.institute) or the Chair’s designated representative. The Resolution Institute Mediation Rules shall apply to the mediation. We agree to share the costs of mediation equally between us
LITIGATION
It is a condition precedent to the right of either party to commence litigation other than for interlocutory relief that it has first offered to submit the dispute to mediation. Litigation is to be considered a last resort and may not be commenced until, in the opinion of the independent mediator, the potential for negotiation and mediation have been exhausted
